RACIST: Woman rants on tram

VIDEO FOOTAGE showing a white woman launch into a racist outburst on board a south London tram has sparked unprecedented outrage since it surfaced online last night (Nov 27).

Social networks have been flooded with complaints from members of the community left incensed by the three-minute clip showing a British woman tell fellow black and asian passengers to "go back to where you come from!"

The woman, who is holding her young child in her arms, launches into the unprovoked verbal attack after seemingly growing agitated at the amount of "brown faces" on board the packed carriage.

When a black mother asks the unidentified woman to curb her bad language, she is told to, "F**k you! Go back to where you come from!"

The offensive clip has been circulated via social networks and Blackberry smartphones, with members of the community calling for this woman to be apprehended.

The video has now become one of the most-talked about topics on social networking site, Twitter. The hashtag, #racisttramwoman has been created for those wishes to express their views with equally outraged users.

"Damnit now I'm all angry. Hatred fuelled by ignorance is one of the things that really irritates me. #racisttramwoman [sic]," wrote Twitteruser, Mikuro Mikuro.

1inaBillionGuy added: "Yup, hope social services take the child away from the #RacistTramWoman.... and the social workers are black... oh the pain n shame [sic]."

The video, which has already amassed over 10,000 views on YouTube since it was posted yesterday (Nov 27), has also been the target of outrage from commentators with nearly 1,500 people 'disliking' the clip.

*WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE*

The Voice has contacted the Metropolitan Police press office, who say they are now looking into the incident.
