» Abbey Centre

Works with Arabic speakers and Bangladeshis in SW1 and the others in the local community to improve their quality of life, through a programme of health and social activities. For example, women only exercises, cooking, grow and eat sessions, massage, emotional support, childcare training, community interpreting courses and business support for new enterprises. Classes vary from year to year so do check with The Abbey Centre for what is currently available.

Al-Hasaniya Moroccan Women's Centre serves the needs of Moroccan and Arabic-speaking women and their families in London and the UK.

» Albahdja

Our aim is to encourage fitness for women. We have a homework club for children, women's exercise class and education.

» Avenue's Youth Project

Supplementary School - Baraka provides academic support, field trips and a range of services to young people and families in London.

» Bishop Ho Ming Wah Association & Community association

Provides appropriate services to those in need and also organises and participates in many fun educational and cultural activities for the Chinese community.

» Black and Ethnic Minority Diabetes Association ( BEMDA)

Raises awareness of diabetes and potential complications within the BME communities. Run juvenile diabetes project. Patient Support Groups sessions. Publications, including newsletter & Nutrition guidelines. Diabetes focused expert patient training for the management of the chronic condition. Healthy living initiatives, diet & physical activities; Drop-In & Advice Services; Diabetes-related research, studies & conference focus groups, education, training & workshops.

» BME Residence Group

Participation of BME groups on commitees and community organisations, working with private and public organisations to inprove the quality of life for BME groups, encourage friendship and promote awareness.

» Breathe Easy (British Lung Foundation)

Conduct research to increase survival rates, improve diagnosis, treatment and care, and develop understanding of lung diseases. Support young scientists to encourage them to develop their careers in the field of respiratory research.

» Buddha Light International Association (BLIA)

Uniting devotees and the monastic in promoting Buddhism through education, cultural and charity events.

Our vision is that every unpaid carer in the areas in which we operate is recognised and leads a healthy, fulfilling life with control over their caring role.

» Central Gurdwara (Khalsa Jatha)

This is a religious institution established in 1908. Promotes Sikh religion. Philosophy of one God and universal brotherhood.Runs Sunday School for teaching and music. Register marriages, conduct religious and social functions.Receives visits from schools, universities and other organisations.

» Central London Youth Development Trust

Working with children and young people from diverse communities to increase their aspiration and improve social behaviours. Currently Clyd have been running the following programmes: mentoring; supplementary education, supplementary education; youth ambassaddor programme; faith culture in diversity; earn & leard (employment); spot and focus (video production).

» Chelsea Methodist Church, Narthex Pastoral Centre

Our volunteers provide food, laundry and shower facilities to homeless men and women. We run a children's school, elderly peoples group, yoga and psychological support, counselling for young people, support for depression.

Eradication of illiteracy and poverty and research into alternative medication.

» Dalgarno Supplementary School

Classes for children (English, Arabic, IT, Maths, Sport Quraan). Also arrange trips outside London.

» Depaul Trust

Residential project for 16-25 homeless adults. We run training schemes and education for young offenders, asylum seekers and young people who have been in care.

» EACH Counselling and Support

EACH Counselling and Support are providing specialist BME services across London, including work around mental health, trauma and domestic and sexual violence.

» Ebony Steelband Trust

Steelband services for disability and for all age groups, Steelband parties. We run a millenium volunteer project 16-24.

» Emanuel Evangelical Church

We function as a church during the weekend. During the week we do community family work: We run a cofee morning for women, parents and children under 5, free of charge. From there we identify other needs, eg family crisis. We have youth service, and adult service.

Training, helping children with homework, Support with English language, advice and information, referal letters, helping women back to work, advice on immigration.

We help local young people to develop socially, physically and mentally byy providing them with sport activities and health awareness sessions. Founded in 1991, this is one of the few Black women's organisations specialising in offering counselling, support and advice to Black women and other women of colour, immigrant and refugee women, who have suffered rape, sexual assault or other violence.

This service offers free counselling to the local community through qualified and accredited counsellors.

Stop Learning Disability Hate Crime – Helpline

Stop Hate UK launched a new 24 hour helpline service, Stop Learning Disability Hate Crime, in England and Wales.

People in England and Wales who have experienced, witnessed or know someone who is experiencing Learning Disability Hate Crime can contact the Stop Learning Disability Hate Crime helpline on 0808 802 1155 for support and information. The helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. It is free to call the Stop Learning Disability Hate Crime helpline from landlines and most mobiles and the number will not show on a phone bill.

The new service is  funded by the Ministry of Justice Victim and Witness Fund.

Equality Advisory Support Service

The Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS) provides information advice and support on discrimination and human rights issues to individuals in England, Scotland and Wales.

The Service is funded by the Government Equalities Office and replaces the helpline run by the Equality and Human Rights Commission which had operated in England, Wales and Scotland.

Net Aware: developed with the NSPCC and Mumsnet, it offers a simple guide on the different apps and sites used by children and young people.

Barnardo’s  Spot the Signs:  Advice for parents, professionals and young people on the signs of sexual exploitation and how to keep safe. Barnardo’s has published the set of advice leaflets, available to download below for parents, professionals and young people across the UK.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) Think U Know: CEOP is a police led, child protection agency which specialises in tackling sexual abuse on and offline. Through its education programme, Thinkuknow, CEOP offers a range of safety information for children, young people, practitioners and parents/carers. Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation (PACE) is an organisation that offers support to parnets/carers affected by Child Sexual Exploitation. PACE offers parents and carers access to an on-going and long term free telephone based support and information via a specialist team of National Parent Support Workers. Parents can be referred to PACE via the police, social services, third sector organisations and self-referral.

Anti Racism

Tyne and Wear Anti Fascist Association(TWAFA)
Aims to provide information and advice to the community about fascism and anti-fascist activism.

National Coalition of Anti-Deportation Campaigns
Provides people facing deportation with practical help and advice on how to launch and run anti-deportation campaigns.

Runnymede Trust
Has been at the forefront of the fight against social injustice and racial discrimination for the last 36 years.

Kick it out
Works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge racism and work for positive change.

National Assembly Against Racism
An umbrella of affiliates and individual members who initiate campaigns, set agendas and raise awareness on the whole range of anti-racist issues affecting British society.
