Please be aware that combining fruits and vegetables shouldn't be done in all cases as they require different digestive processes, but the above is the exception to the rule 

Particularly, apples which mix with vegetable juices can be used in place of carrots to sweeten the taste. Given their high water content both lettuce and celery can be combined with either fruit or vegetable juice.

Most fruits mix well together; but you should only mix citrus fruits with other citrus fruits and preferably melons only with other melons.


Smoothies - The following are all smoothies that should be mixed in blender for around 20 - 40 seconds or until smoothe consistency.

2 Kiwi's, peeled and cut into 4 pieces

1 banana

5 strawberries

7 raspberries

335g 1 ½ cup low fat natural yoghurt

1 medium size glass of milk or soya milk

 Berry Tastic

1 handful of blueberries

3 plums

½ glass of cranberry juice

60ml / 4tbsps of Greek yoghurt

1 banana

4 – 5 ice cubes

Berry Burst

1 handful of raspberries

1 chopped mango

 1 lime (juice only)

2 peeled oranges

Splash of apple juice

6 ice juices

2 bananas

115g/ 1 cup of raspberries

60g ½ cup blackberries (fresh/frozen)

110ml ½ cop vanilla ice cream

2 apples

1 large cup of berries

1 large cup of chopped/cubed pineapple

1 medium cup of ice (cubed or crushed)

Banana Apple

1 whole banana, chopped into 4 pieces

½ cup of pure orange juice

¼ low fat milk or soya

Banana Berry

1 banana

½ cup of low fat vanilla yoghurt

1 cup of frozen strawberries

1 tbsp. of orange juice concentrate

Banana Mania

2 bananas

2 passion fruit, only pulp

1 small mango

½ cup pineapple

1/3 cup pineapple juice

1 lime juice only

A pinch of ground pepper

A pinch of cayenne pepper

Pineapple Crush

½ cup of pineapple juice

4tbsp orange juice

¾ cup of melon chopped roughly

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

Papaya and Honey

1 large papaya

2 tbsp. honey

Cinnamon to taste

2/3 Greek yoghurt

Handful of ice

Apple and Carrot

1 large apple, sweet

1 banana, large and ripe

1 carrot, large

3 dates, pitted

1 tbsp. of flax seed, whole or raw

1 cup of ice cubes

Mango and Pear

1 tbsp. mixed seeds

1 small apple

1 small ripe pear

¾ cup milk or soya

Vanilla extract, few drops

Mango and Ginger

245g low fat vanilla yoghurt

1 cup non-fat butter milk

2 pieces of crystallised ginger

2 ripe mangoes

½ cup of crushed ice.

Mango madness

2 cups of vanilla yoghurt

1 cup of mango nectar

2 mangoes peeled and chopped

¼ tbsp. of cardamom

Peach Berry

½ cup ripe medium peaches diced

½ cup raspberries

½ cup peach nectar

1 cup low at peach yoghurt

Peachy Orange

½ tin of peaches

2 tbsp. of natural yoghurt

½ cup of fresh orange juice

Peach and Apple

1 small apple

½ cup peach halves

Syrup from a can of peach halves

2/3 cup natural yoghurt

3 ice cubes

½ tbsp. vanilla essence

Small pinch of sugar

2 tbsp. honey
