Wayne Berkeley Dies

Mr Wayne Berkeley, one of Trinidad’s most influential carnival designers passed away on Friday 10th June 2011.
Trinidad mourned his passing with a funeral held in Port of Spain on Wednesday 15th June 2011.
His passing has affected the very community where he was a major part of. Carnival has lost an inspiring champion who overcame personal adversity to continue designing, “Wayne you will be missed but never forgotten”.
For all those in the UK who were unable to attend his funeral but wanted to pay their respects a service is being organised to take place at a venue TBC in the next couple of weeks.
