Awareness of Child and Adult Sexual Exploitation - online training
Everyone who comes into contact with adults at risk and children should have basic awareness of sexual exploitation training.
Virtual College has trained over 60,000 people in child sexual exploitation and has worked with the North East Safeguarding Training group to create this new online training course 'Basic Awareness of Child and Adult Sexual Exploitation'.
The online course covers topics including inappropriate relationships, consent, gang violence, trafficking and online grooming. It is the only course that covers adult sexual exploitation in line with the Care Act 2014.

Child Poverty
'Child Poverty' has been developed in association with Newport City Council and Central Bedfordshire Council. The course covers government strategies and legislation including the Child Poverty Act 2010.
Safer Recruitment
'Safer Recruitment' has been created with a subject matter expert to ensure the course covers all relevant government strategies ans legislation including Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015.
